Process Engineer

Summary:
This position will work as part of the operations team to optimize device performance, quality and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve the fabrication process through carefully designed experimentation and implementation of process control and monitoring techniques.
  • Work with others in developing, sustaining and improving process equipment performance.
  • Analyze manufacturing indices and data to drive continuous improvements.
  • Support cycle time reduction efforts.
  • Monitor yields and drive defect reduction programs.
  • Take ownership for resolving customer quality issues on assigned process modules.
  • Mentor, coach and train junior level engineers and manufacturing technicians.
  • Interface with product, test and quality engineering to solve problems and implement process enhancements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • 2 years recent experience as a Process Engineer in a semiconductor environment
  • Strong self-motivation and project management experience
  • Ability to interface with people of different backgrounds and at every level of the organization
  • Experience leading cross functional teams to solve problems and implement process enhancements
  • Strong track record of effective problem-solving, good engineering judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong drive to produce results in timely fashion and have strong sense of competitive urgency
  • Must be willing to travel domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • 5-7 years work experience as a Process Engineer in a semiconductor environment
