Summary:
This position will work as part of the operations team to optimize device performance, quality and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Improve the fabrication process through carefully designed experimentation and implementation of process control and monitoring techniques.
- Work with others in developing, sustaining and improving process equipment performance.
- Analyze manufacturing indices and data to drive continuous improvements.
- Support cycle time reduction efforts.
- Monitor yields and drive defect reduction programs.
- Take ownership for resolving customer quality issues on assigned process modules.
- Mentor, coach and train junior level engineers and manufacturing technicians.
- Interface with product, test and quality engineering to solve problems and implement process enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- 2 years recent experience as a Process Engineer in a semiconductor environment
- Strong self-motivation and project management experience
- Ability to interface with people of different backgrounds and at every level of the organization
- Experience leading cross functional teams to solve problems and implement process enhancements
- Strong track record of effective problem-solving, good engineering judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong drive to produce results in timely fashion and have strong sense of competitive urgency
- Must be willing to travel domestically
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- 5-7 years work experience as a Process Engineer in a semiconductor environment
